Bass Compression Tutorial + [Video]

In the past few months I’ve been trying to figure out a way to record a screencast video using an audio interface and I finally got it to work the way I want.

From now on, there’ll be more video tutorials as compared to text tutorials because videos are much easier to create and makes it easy for people to understand.

I’ve started a new Youtube Channel, so before getting started with our first video lesson I need you to subscribe to the channel so that you don’t miss out on any tutorial.

I’ve made everything easy for you, so simply click the Red Youtube button below to subscribe:

OK, with that sorted, we can now get started. For our first lesson we’ll be talking about bass compression. You can do what I’m about to show you with any software or any compressor.

This tutorial is a concise guide so it will help you no matter what style of music you make. It can be house, hip hop, metal, classic or any other music genre.

In the video below, you’ll learn how to easily find good settings for a bass sound. It could be a live, mono or stereo synth bass, the tutorial will help you learn how to make your bass sit well in a mix.

  1. ONE OF THE BEST TUTORIALS IVE SEEN ON COMPRESSION. Mannn I can’t get Pro C yet but I’m using another one in FL Studio and this helped a lot. My bass felt weak in the mix but this should help. I thought I could just turn it up, but then it just felt weak and louder and I just couldn’t find the balance. I just got Beyerdynamic 1990s for mixing and mastering so I can’t wait to try some of these other techniques you have on this site. Thanks
